Messages or calls failing

If messages won't send or calls drop, update the app and try another network. On a computer, try the web version. If many people report the same thing, wait it out.

Rule out your own connection

  • Check whether other sites load. If nothing loads, the problem is your internet connection.
  • Restart your router or switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data.
  • Turn off any VPN, ad blocker or DNS filter and try again.
