Apple not working? What to try

Website won't load

Try a hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R or Cmd+Shift+R), then a private window. If it loads there, clear the site's cookies and cache or disable extensions.

App not working

Force quit the app and reopen it, then check the App Store or Google Play for an update. Switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data rules out your network.

Streaming or playback problems

Lower the playback quality, restart the device, and run a speed test. Constant buffering with a normal speed test usually means the service is struggling.

API or dashboard errors

Look at the HTTP status code. A 5xx error is on their side, 429 means you hit a rate limit, and 401 or 403 means a credentials or permissions problem.

Files not syncing or uploading

Check that you have free storage, pause and resume sync, or try the web version. Large uploads are usually the first thing to fail during an outage.

Orders, bookings or tracking not updating

Don't place the same order twice. Check your confirmation email first; order and tracking pages often lag behind during an outage.

Rule out your own connection

  • Check whether other sites load. If nothing loads, the problem is your internet connection.
  • Restart your router or switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data.
  • Turn off any VPN, ad blocker or DNS filter and try again.

Apple status FAQ

Is Apple down right now?

No. Our last check of Apple 2 minutes ago found it up and responding. This page updates every 5 minutes.

Why is Apple not working for me?

If this page shows Apple as up, the problem is most likely on your side: your browser, app, Wi-Fi, DNS or VPN. Try a private window, another device, or mobile data. If it fails everywhere and other people are reporting problems, it's an outage.

When was the last Apple outage?

We haven't recorded a confirmed Apple outage in the last 90 days. We count an outage when Apple fails our checks for at least 10 minutes in a row.

How do I check Apple status?

This page checks Apple every 5 minutes from our server and shows the result, response times and outage history. Apple also publishes an official status page with incident updates.

Can I get an alert when Apple goes down?

Yes. Add Apple (or your own website) as a monitor in Notifier and you'll get an email, SMS or phone call alert the moment it stops responding. The free plan covers 10 monitors. Start monitoring free.
