What the Integration Does

Notifier.so monitors your websites and APIs around the clock. When we detect downtime, we send an alert directly to your Slack workspace so your team can respond immediately.

How to Connect Slack

   Sign up or log in to Notifier.so

   Create a free account at notifier.so. No credit card required.

   Go to Integrations

   In your Notifier dashboard, navigate to Monitoring → Integrations.

   Click "Connect Slack"

   You'll be redirected to Slack to authorize Notifier for your workspace. We request only the permissions needed to read your channel list and send alert messages.

   Choose a channel for each monitor

   Once connected, edit any monitor and select which Slack channel (or DM) should receive its alerts.

Permissions We Request

When you connect Slack, we request only the permissions we need:

• • channels:read and groups:read : To list your public and private channels so you can choose where to send alerts.
• • chat:write and chat:write.public : To send downtime and recovery alert messages to your chosen channels or DMs.

We do not read your messages, access your files, or modify your workspace in any way.
