I bet you will be just fine using standard apps like that. I mainly use <strong>Nvidia</strong> Shield Pros, which are fantastic. My Panasonic has Fire OS and whenever I do use it it works just fine and Fire OS always gets a bad wrap here.
What I do believe is that over time your OS may get worse over time. At that point you will benefit to buy a streaming device or just use your Fire stick, which should be just fine. I used firesticks for years and they always worked fine.
4ms is the baseline latency of 240Hz, you are probably just looking at the Render Latency which is always gonna be \~4ms at 240Hz, or even lower latency if you run higher framerate above 240FPS (e.g. \~2ms at 480FPS). <strong>Nvidia</strong> overlay may not have access to the actual latency of the game (it should be labelled PC Latency or System Latency)
For instance in Overwatch 2 at 480Hz, it shows Render Latency at 2ms (which is roughly 480Hz) and PC Latency at 5ms, so it's 2ms + 5ms of late...

Hi! I am currently using macbook M4 pro so i have no problems developming ML/AIs using google colab. But recently we are using NTFS ssd drives that does not work on mac. I need to buy a separate service like paragon or setapp, but feel like I would rather buy a windows/<strong>nvidia</strong> gpu laptop.
I have been looking into some desktops but thats kinda out of my budget and dont want to use my research lab's money on this. Any laptop rec for me?

Yep, I was going to use the P620 for video HW NVENC transcoding, but the quality was so terrible I ditched that quickly. Hopefully down the line I'll be able to setup a different Tdarr node with either Intel QSV or a newer <strong>Nvidia</strong> GPU. 750ti is probably your best bet. 700 series from <strong>nvidia</strong> was rhe last ones to have official drivers and the 750ti has an SFF that will fit in an optiplex. Source: done it myself

Triple Monitor Setup Issues
I’m trying to switch from VR to a triple monitor setup and I cannot get multiview to work nor do I see the ultra-wide resolution to show up available resolutions.
I have 2 1920x1080p for left and right and a 1440p as the center, all 27 inch. The kicker is that they’re all 3 different brands MSI, Acer and Dell and 144hz.

Win11 Keeps on dying
