I haven’t use bazzite but I think your GPU is turing architecture and <strong>Nvidia</strong> did release 5XX drivers with better support.
Looks like bazzite also updated drivers a year back. So, it should have worked. Maybe the issue was something else

i would like to say my <strong>nvidia</strong> drivers update were post-this issue, but ill roll em back anyway and see what happens
None of this works. Colors are still washed out. KDE 6.5 + <strong>Nvidia</strong> + vk-hdr-layer. I'm using flatpak steam version tho would that be an issue?
Investigated the same. Never started with <strong>Nvidia</strong> in the first place, but to gain exposure to semiconductors I've picked SOXQ instead of SMH for cheaper E/R
Do 6k 🙃 if its more than 1.5 years old... cuz idk but amd gpu lose performance over time faster than <strong>Nvidia</strong> chips

As a person currently rocking an optiplex 3020 sff with <strong>nvidia</strong> gt1030 gddr4 2gb vram, I can say it can't handle very much, I have to play games at 720p iff not less sometimes - get the gddr5 if you can, or get 1650 which is what Iam looking for - I've had enough of it bc it's quite slow but it's good if your on a budget it will perform a bit - thing is any bigger graphics cards are hard to fit in the dell motherboard without blocking my stock psu and x1 express port so I stuck...
No it wasn't. I was a emplyee in <strong>Nvidia</strong> even earlier than that. It just after these many splits, it looks like a penny stock then.
Besides the name and running DGX OS (which is basically Ubuntu 24.04 with <strong>NVidia</strong> kernel and extra software), it's not a scaled down version of GB200. It's a different hardware platform that uses Mediatek CPU instead of <strong>NVidia</strong> Grace arch. But that's nitpicking, it is still a good dev kit.
Other than that, I agree that Strix Halo is the best option for most users unless they need CUDA, and need larger VRAM (albeit slow).
I have both. DGX for work, Strix Halo fo...

I'd go with DataBricks due to a couple reasons:
1. For me, the salary's difference is too high.
2. Full-stack engineers have more opportunities and demands. Meanwhile a full-stack ML-style big-data engineers are needed everywhere. If you "graduate" from Databricks, you should be able to get any job anywhere.
Very few companies would need GPU Design Verification Eng. I cannot think of any. Maybe AMD and <strong>...

No difference in performance or being snappy with the 4K Plus? The Onn 4K Plus is just a couple notches down from the <strong>Nvidia</strong> Shield in terms place of raw benchmarks for Android TV CPU's. Is it maybe a storage issue slowing things down?

Hey ya’ll, I finally got around to making this review/comparison. I’m currently running side by side mounted on their stands. Please note I have no professional equipment and this is all just side by side comparison. I did come from a nice IPS display that was an omen 27qs and I have an LG CX oled TV for comparison. Used my iphone 16 PM as well lol.

Connect it with an external monitor or TV and use the external display to use the laptop. You can only do this if your laptop's panel is screwed. Use the <strong>Nvidia</strong> App.
But if the problem is with your graphics driver, just take it to a technician.
RR is risky as fuck. Idk how many times I have to say this but that's a garbage company. Repurposed Chinese bots that can barely do shit. It's temu of robotics and after the <strong>Nvidia</strong> conference, which is really BS since their humanoid robot will likely look like shit like everything else, this shit will take nosedive and stay there for a long time.
Nah, just try CachyOS.. right out the gate works perfect with <strong>Nvidia</strong>/Intel.. better performance.
Getting really low frames on a high spec pc
Hi guys, as you can probably tell from the title im getting really low frames on games which I should absolutely be able to run fine I have recently built this PC and have only installed the main drivers and sorted out the power plan and bios, I haven't touched anything else so Im abit stuck on what I can do to improve my fps even though I should be getting decent frames.
My specs are

It’s an old(ish) Frankensteined desktop I got in high school from Staples during a Black Friday sale (around 2018, specs similar to base PS4 but can’t remember details). I loaned it to a friend in college and he beefed it up a little with a new CPU/GPU, but that could be a separate issue (<strong>Nvidia</strong> GPU, GTX 1660).
And yeah it’s super fun to revive old stuff with Linux haha, it’s cool seeing a shitty family computer from like 2012 run as if it were new with a lightweight distro. I...
Even if you do switch, i would've kept windows on dualboot (Windows 11 can work without activation), for a simple reason, it is better to do testing on a target platform.
As for software, i second a Rider recommendation. Imo both Fedora and Debian are good picks, mainly because of stability, but my knowledge in the field could be outdated.
I also heard that if you have <strong>NVidia</strong> graphics card you should use official drivers to avoid issues. And while i only "heard" about it, yo...
yeah, For gamers, FPS is the one of the most important factors. But it makes sense for you to buy 5090 since VRAM is the most important thing for AI training. For big companies, they can afford <strong>NVIDIA</strong> A100 / H100, which have much higher VRAM. btw, Is there anything else you care about except VRAM when you choose to buy a GPU for AI training?
<strong>Nvidia</strong> started to notice that more people started to buy their workstation cards
They started to advertise their Titan cards as xx90 series.
"for gamers" sure.
80 is still the top end gaming GPU, only being topped by 80 Ti and then whatever SUPER was supposed to tell us.
No game should target a 90 card.
Imagine game publishers starting to recommend workstation CPUs Threadripper/EPYC/Xeon(lol) to run properly... Mad.

I have two questions
1) Why btrfs over ext4?
2) Dows amd play better with arch than <strong>nvidia</strong>?
- MSI MAG X870 Tomahawk WiFi
- <strong>NVIDIA</strong> RTX 4070 12 GB
- 2x Silicon Power 1 TB SSDs
- 32 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5 7200 MHz RAM
- AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU
- Thermaltake Smart 600W PSU
Power supply is on. Again - the RAM LEDs come on, but nothing else
Which power pins are you referring to? The JFP1 ones?
You are going to have to do like the rest of us in your same situation. Plan the transition methodically and deliberately. I recently finished my research on the distro to use because I play a lot of Steam games and edit video using DaVinci Resolve Studio. I also run a <strong>NVIDIA</strong> RTX 2070 on a Core i9 with 64GB maxed RAM. I eventually landed on POP OS to handle all of this. I just installed it on a laptop I was not using today so I can start working with it before I make my switch i...
FFTIC WORKS on my Asus Z Flow 13 now!! I went to the AMD Drivers and Support website > [Drivers and Support for Processors and Graphics](https://www.amd.com/en/support/download/drivers.html) and downloaded the AMD Software uploader. There is an Andrenaline update 25.9.1 for the Radeo 8060S. Once I installed it, BAM, it works on my Asus Z Flow 13 now! The menus work as intended and just like on my Switch/<strong>NVIDIA</strong> desktop.
Update brings lots of QoL to the game. Still missing super basic things we had in both prior releases but this is definitely a step in the right direction.
Wish the performance was still better, too under leveled for HoE but even on hard with a 9070xt and ryzen 9 it drops as low as 65-70 from a rough average of 90-110 during the round and around 130-140 during trader pod time. The visual effects really fuck the frames up I turned those down to low. I don't use lumen either, but I did try it a...

All companies are evil. What are you talking about. It's not about "good or evil" companies. Every single one of them are shite. <strong>Nvidia</strong> is the worst of them all, and I don't think anyone gains nothing when deciding not to buy a product because the company "values"
We are talking about hardware, and you know that you can buy whatever, but CPU wise, it's honestly a non choice. But, anyone can choose intel if they want, I don't give a damn. You need to be realistic when talking a...
The AI bubble is also highly incestuous around <strong>NVIDIA</strong>, as the graph shows.
First off... Firefox on Android is different from Firefox on PC. Second you are using Android not a desktop. So things interact differently. Third <strong>Nvidia</strong> tells you this is how you are supposed to use GeForce Now on a Android. Don't come crying when you try to do something different and it doesn't work.

I can't get this game to run. I was able too before, but it suddenly crashed and I can't get it back open. It'll either be stuck on a black screen with no sound or completely crash Eden. You can get plenty of games to use 20GB Vram if you want them too in which case AMD has nothing to offer this gen.

Costco is higher valued than <strong>Nvidia</strong> on a forward P/E basis, just sayin.
UPS at current level and times could be seen as a defensive play that may outperform if you believe in the whole AI bubble busting theory or any other thesis that would predict a tech/Mag7 correction in the near future. Trying to play devil‘s advocate. If they manage to keep their dividend, this alone would be juicy. Considering a cut is kind of expected and maybe halfway baked in, this would mean some upwa...

Well I wouldn't close the conversation with <strong>Nvidia</strong> at least. People were promised something, <strong>Nvidia</strong> have let people down on that. There should be some sort of recompense.
Long as cuda is the standard for AI <strong>nvidia</strong> will be ok, then if not they also have more raw horsepower behind their chips against the competition
