Notifier | DNS Lookup

Look up DNS records for any domain. Choose a record type and see values, TTL (Time To Live), and priority for MX or SRV records.

What is DNS lookup and how does it work?

A DNS lookup tool lets you check the DNS records of any domain in seconds. It queries the Domain Name System and shows records such as A, AAAA, MX, TXT, CNAME, NS, SOA, SRV, and CAA exactly as published by the domain's nameservers. You can use it to verify DNS configuration, troubleshoot website issues, debug email problems, check SSL settings, and monitor DNS propagation.

  • What you see: Each record shows a value, TTL (time to live in seconds), and for MX and SRV records a priority. The TTL is the value returned by the domain's DNS, not from our cache.
  • What TTL means: TTL tells resolvers and caches how long they may store that record before asking the nameserver again. Lower TTLs mean more frequent lookups; higher TTLs reduce load but slow down propagation when you change records.
  • How to use this tool: Enter a domain (e.g. notifier.so or example.com), select a record type from the dropdown, and click Check. Results appear in a table. Use "ALL" to query every record type at once.

A free DNS lookup is one of the fastest ways to verify that your domain's DNS records are correct and to troubleshoot mail, certificates, or connectivity issues.
