"he got access to hundreds of physics graduates from school"
Well he hired them. Don't understand the point you are making. It's called hiring employees.
"most of them are former NASA employees that got annoyed with bureaucracy."
Is there any source of this claim or did you just make this bs up lol? Most sources point to your statement being wrong.
Nice try though.
Why not, Teslas most profitable product is Tesla stock. This will end at some point, of that I’m certain…but for the time being the music is still playing.
Right, we just have to wait until her official death date get determined and released atp. It should be within the couple next weeks. It would be interesting, if her date of death is earlier than her last sent message. It would mean that d4vd was texting her loved ones from her phone while on tour, after her death. Especially since the Tesla was last moved on July 29th, according to the pi, and her loved ones last heard from her in early to mid August
We do have one hell of a mix here. *We hate Tesla!* ATH...
Who cares, buy Tesla calls. Get rich.
I mean yes, it is. The idea you can just pick random companies and sit back because one of them will return 50,000% is pretty stupid. Many, many fortunes have been lost through bad investments.
But that's also not what he did. He made a mint of X/Paypal, and then almost immediately turned around and invested most of his fortune in founding SpaceX. Concurrent to that, he led Tesla's series A. But at Tesla, he took an active role in the company and became chairman of the board *...
> Many people hate him, hes a super awkward dude
They don't need to like him, but they do need to believe he's going to deliver some sort of whiz-bang technology. Never mind the fact that he regularly over-promises and under-delivers.
> he doenst care about shit like share price
Be that as it may, it's why he's the richest man in the world.
> None of those things would equate to him "selling himself".
In the sense of a salesperson, yes they do. Tesla shares are priced ...
i feel like waymo has benefited a lot from having tesla (and uber, for a while) out there breaking things. people's natural reaction to self-driving cars is always going to be that it's scary, and having somebody to point to and say "we aren't like those guys" is good cover.
You guys are fighting about how it was daddy’s money and how he truly is smart. In fact it’s neither of those. It’s both and luck.
Malcolm Gladwell covered this in his book. He used Bill Gates as an example. His family had money, Bill had a special interest in computers, his family used their money to gain access to computer labs where Bill could use computers to learn and the last part of the puzzle was timing, luck… it was just at the right time when computers where in its infancy and there...
Yes but Tesla is so technologically bancrupt they can't afford to let him go because without him as CEO all they have left is a tarnished brand and low worldwide sales with competitors waiting for their flesh. They literally can't afford to let this dork nazi go.
I hope we get the TCS missions again. I loved them. They probably won't be pesticide but the missions will be changed to something else. My idea was a planetary shield generator. Do enough of that mission as a community and it activates a planetary shield for x amount of real life hours/days which would stop or prevent attacks from neighboring enemy controlled planets while active.
The mission was relatively simple. There were 3 towers you had to turn on and while turning them on you had to de...
This topic keeps coming up. Yes, that is the best thing to do if they want to turn Tesla around. He's a parasite and he's always been a parasite. Imagine if Tesla just focused on building really good EVs?
I live in Southern California as well and from what I understand roofers charge about $400 per panel to remove them and put them back when they were doing a re-roof and you do not need Tesla to do that. Regardless of the same opinion as the others as I'm in a similar situation and had to put the brakes on getting solar installed because Tesla wanted me to get a new underlayment, which would've cost me the same price as a whole system. Regardless, I can't even ...
Tesla rehashing old threats to get shareholders to approve Musk’s $1 trillion pay day | If it sounds like a familiar argument, it’s because it’s the same one the board used last year. The largest compensation package ever considered for a CEO, again. -verge

Grok’s thoughts on this job posting:
“From a battery technology standpoint, this job posting is a strong indicator that Tesla is pushing boundaries with what could be a bespoke, high-performance energy system tailored for the Roadster’s extreme specs—like achieving over 600 miles of range and blistering acceleration that demands rapid discharge rates without compromising longevity or safety. The emphasis on “new battery products and architectures” suggests they’re not just iter...
We own a ‘21 M3 and a ‘23 MX- both are regularly updated (Software), keeping them truly up-to-date. My brother has a ‘22 Bolt and a “23 Mecedes SU-EV, neither get updates, and their “fast” charging is so much slower. Stay with Tesla…best EV’s dollar-for-dollar in the market. Good luck 👍
I’m a local licensed installer here in so cal as well Tesla certified I can definitely help you with the removal of the panels and do better then 8k message me if your interested
I found 3d max spyder pleasing, clean look in tesla. Only thing i didnt like is it makes noise when u rub hard shoes on it. Tuxmat look feel heavy to me. Although it protects well.
yeah but as I said, they are decreasing in both marketshare and absolute numbers, so whatever mental gymnastics you make up about marketshare decrease that's not holding up, especially given that Tesla is valued higher than all the big manufacturers COMBINED.
I haven't heard of this being any sort of widespread problem. No guarantee whatever replacement car you get won't have issues either. Things break on cars unfortunately . Type whatever make you want plus brake failure and you will get posts of every car company

What happens with folks with Flo EVSE installed if Flo goes under? Would this be reason enough to go for Tesla universal EVSE if we are trying to decide between these two? Thank you!
Google and Microsoft are currently two of the top three cloud providers in the world. They have to be doing *something* right, even if the software which made them household names is no longer the forefront of technology.
> Isn't the narrative now that he had nothing to do with any of the innovations and was just a hype and money guy?
I honestly don't know what you're talking about. I'm certainly not claiming that Musk built Tesla vehicles with his own engineering knowledge, a...
Douche bag. And none of his accomplishments are his own.
Thiel called him an obnoxious psychopath. Of course he then called Thiel a sociopathic suck up, but still.
Pick some other billionaire brat to applaud. All this one does is buy companies. Take credit.
Tesla rolling over in his grave.
Tesla is actually the only one I can think of that has a version of autopilot which doesn't require your hands on the wheel. Many new cars have some version of this, it's not just Tesla. It's used for safety features as well, not just lane assistance. Usually bottom trim levels will get just the safety stuff and top trim will get the lane keeping assistance/ follow lead car.
You can also actually upgrade many modern cars into an even smarter lane keeping assist...
It seems everyone that had a solar city lease that was taken over by Tesla has been getting ripped off. I am in the same boat. I never signed a lease with Tesla but am in a contract and can not get out if. The panels do not produce enough to justify the monthly payment.
Service and communication is null. There must be a class action lawsuit?
Check out your local auto upholstery shops, especially ones that deal with high-end or custom interiors. They usually know how to handle Tesla interiors without messing up sensors or trim. Also, if you're doing it for aesthetics, there are some aftermarket steering wheel options that are wrapped and shaped differently already (Alcantara, carbon fiber, etc). Just a heads-up: even with all the fancy tech, there are still tons of customization options out there for Tesla</s...
She definately watched the ChrisFix tesla oil change video
I live in California, which is a very liberal state. Our governor and his cronies sold out hard to the utilities and have dismantled green energy incentives, all the while talking about how they support action vs climate change. What a joke.
They also jacked up electrical rates. The cost of living in California is already bad, and this makes it worse.
So of course going green is associated with getting screwed financially. Over 50 cents a kwhour. People associate those costs with green ener...

Alternate theory: Musk is orchestrating a TSLA stock pump so if the Nov 5 shareholder vote for his $1 trillion salary fails, he can leave the company claiming that the stock is at an all time high and everyone else made Tesla fail
The money ive spend buying all my cars in the last decade has still been less than you paid for your Tesla.
From Wikipedia:
A lawsuit settlement agreed to by Eberhard and Tesla in September 2009 allows all five – Eberhard, Tarpenning, Wright, Musk, and Straubel – to call themselves co-founders.
Two people originally founded Tesla. Now 5 people are called founders. I don't know what else I can tell you. These are the facts.
Good, fuck Tesla.
lol props bro, but that 650W Ant esports is like buying a cheap battery for a Tesla, good luck surviving a 60W surge
He's in the same vein as Steve Jobs: Doesn't really do anything but he's good at spotting trends and rallying investors.
The guy is an asshole but EVs wouldn't be where they are if he didn't buy into Tesla and then lean on it. We'd still be dicking around with renditions of GM's EV1.
Not sure what video you saw but there was no drifting happening here. The rear of that Tesla slid the tiniest amount. Not event really enough to consider it “breaking loose”.
I hate being a Tesla and BMW owner. Everyone fucking sucks so much it’s insane
Definitely dont get a non-Tesla, considering Tesla has an incredible safety record.
ICE cars have the same doors. That's not a Tesla thing.
The most important thing is, no matter what car you buy, dont be negligent; rtfm.
You bet I am. You bought a car from a neo-nazi maniac thinking you were being "environmentally friendly" even though its more damaging to the environment to manufacture and dispose of those cars than running gas or diesel is for 10 years straight. Then, you people run around acting like you're all that, with your overpriced prius with worse build quality than Chrysler products, desperately trying to justify to yourself why you wasted $100k on a car that wont even last 10 years before you need a ...
Tesla has done Level 4 drives on public roads. The "factory delivery" stunt went on both highways and surface streets. Less interesting, newly built cars coming off the Austin and Fremont assembly lines drive autonomously to the staging lot. In the Austin case that includes some roads open to the public (though they have almost no non-factory traffic).
Elon does indeed come from a rich family, but you don't become the richest man in the planet by pure luck. The man is incredibly good at what he does.
I don't know how you can call companies like SpaceX or Tesla hype. I think you are blinded by hatred, honestly, and that comes from someone that isn't even an Elon fanboy.
It’s 11 states where Tesla Insurance uses your Safety Score. Safer scores (higher than 90) can lower rates by 20-60%, while lower scores increase them. At least 17 other major car insurers have similar “driving behavior tracking” programs. I get the privacy concerns, but otherwise your rates are determined by (duh) driving record, type of vehicle, accident statistics for your zip code, etc. Rather than how YOU drive.
My former gas-mobile insurer jacked me from $99 to $310/month....
Yes, because that is a human who did it whi can be held responsible. Tesla has tried over and over again to avoid responsibility for the accidents and deaths FSD has caused on the road, and this is only going to cause more.
No. Because I enjoy driving and because FSD has been shown to not yet be reliable.
As for cars with better software, I have no idea. I don’t buy cars for software. But, I’ve spent a lot of time in an i4 and I wasn’t aware of anything a Tesla did that it couldn’t do.
If you want to argue the Model 3 is a good value, I wouldn’t push back too hard. It’s inexpensive, so sure, you’re pretty much getting what you paid for. But, any model or trim above a base 3 becomes a lousy val...
I only buy used vehicles.
I had a used Kia Niro with a born-to-fail coolant preheater welded to the cat that requires replacing the cat to replace the coolant preheater, and that could have *really* used a bugfix software update and a way to update the maps, but required you to pay a dealer big bucks for such updates. Where the computer would enter failure mode at the worst times with the only fix being to replace the HV fuse (which unlike any fuse I've ever heard of, had more than two states ...
I park on the part of the parking lot that has the crossed out lines because I own a Tesla.
As a Tesla owner, I get to do whatever the heck I want. It's part of the cost of the car!
Yep... Just like so many others. Be aware we have Meta Fanboys invested in Meta stock here. It's like bringing up problems with Teslas on a Tesla sub.
Kann dir keiner sagen. Gab oft genug wo die Zahlen besser als erwartet waren und alles übertroffen und geht dann trotzdem runter.
Oder wo die schlecht waren und geht dann hoch. Siehe Tesla.
