Honestly, this is where Tesla shines with its Supercharger network. Where I live, it’s a Tesla (car) or a Toyota. From a stoplight, it takes 1/4-1/2 mile to accellerate from 0-30 mph on a 40-55 mph road.
I purchased a 6-15 from them, and the cord was the same as a 6-50 I got from them It was comically thick and overbuilt. I think they build one Tesla plug pigtail combo and use the same one for all of their NEMA plugs. Less parts to stock, and comically overbuilt is always a welcomed change from under built junk from China/Amazon.
First of all, it was already written in a contract before he became CEO to get paid in stocks rather than salary, which was a risky move most CEOs dont ever do. Imagine working for free for many years and never getting paid - ever, because when it was it means to get paid, it gets blocked by a judge that doesn't like him?

I'm sure there are both good and bad Tesla Service experiences. People mostly post about the bad ones. Over the years I've had to get some service done, and they've all been good experiences. Just saying.

Here’s a question and I hope it’s taken in the right spirit. So if you look at the stock of Tesla, for example. The projections are essentially what determine its value but if you look at it price earning ratio, another traditional fundamentals I’m not sure it’ll be valued in the same way. However, if you had invested in Tesla five years ago, then yeah you would’ve made a lot of money that’s the point I’m trying to make I wonder with the way the market is beginn...

Bitte mal begründen, finde den echt gut und bevor ich mir einen mindestens 6 Jahre alten Tesla von Elon kaufe, finde ich den deutlich besser.

Yes it's still putting money in his pocket. What are you talking about? LOL. What do you think Tesla stock is? Lol you think its value is from thin air or something buying Tesla products boosts up their stock which is what Elon gets paid which means he would profit from it. It's very simple eco 101 stuff. I think you're being purposely obtuse but I'll let it slide
Porsche ist nicht VW oder Audi. Die Basis der Kundschaft will Sportwagen haben. People would still virulently defend the e-bike rickshaw w/pleather seat Tesla, and the decisions that created it.. “You shouldn’t need an enclosed passenger compartment. I never used mine- always removed my doors and roof panel first thing, glad Tesla finally got the message— it’s now super-evolved. Don’t drive on the roads with us if you don’t like it!”
I don’t even know if this posted… it disappears, trying again…

Despite what most fanboys will want to say, Tesla doesn’t make every part of the vehicle themselves. They make a fraction of them.
They don’t build their own windshield washer reservoir, pumps, or blades. They don’t make their own paint or trim. It’s all supplied by the same supplier that works with every other company. Just molded into a different shape, with a different color, or applied slightly differently.
If there’s a windshield wiper fluid on the market made for cars?...

No. Entre $5k a $10k
Tesla stock 📈📈📈
Is this a good deal?
Hi all,
I have been looking at Teslas for a couple months and would like to switch over at some point. Located in the GTA. Tons of vehicles on Clutch or Autohaus that seem to go for 5-10k cheaper than the Tesla website. I understand the 1 year warranty but is there any other concerns if not going through Tesla?
I would prefer the Y, although the 3 would be more affordable. AWD and RWD I am indifferent as I would get winters regardless.

Not sure, I think a pure EV is my next car or truck. Probably a EV truck if I come into some money otherwise when my car dies I will evaluate at that time. If it were today I think I would do the Prius Prime, Plug-in hybrid for the Pure EV miles around town and ICE for the longer trips all with Toyota reliability.
I am probably 5 years away still so if new battery tech hits for longer EV miles (500+) some comfy to drive sporty car. (not the Tesla Pay extra for features model)

You said you don’t like putting your money in his pocket, and you also said that I claimed he worked for free, I am simply saying he doesn’t get a salary from Tesla so when you buy a car, it doesn’t directly go to him. It goes to the salaries of the hard-working Americans that work at those companies.

I mean, I've gotten 60% last year in my Roth buying Tesla at the lows, and I got AMD at the lows this year and am sitting at 57% currently...so yeah, I can sustainably earn over 50%, lol. Then again, I look at charts all the time and learn balance sheets ALL THE TIME in my free time. So yeah, I've earned 50% per year. Forget money managers who only earn average market returns. Use a Roth and buy great assets at CHEAP prices! I happily pay our money manager 1.5% out of my annual ...
Also tested both cars and decided on the C10 a few months ago. The C10 is less boaty and less carsick inducing compared to the EX5. Wife wasn't a big fan of the lack of dual zone climate on the EX5 either.
The charging port location for the C10 works well for kerbside charging being at the passenger side rear (same location as Tesla vehicles), which I can't say the same for the EX5 with its charging port located at the driver side front end.
The EX5 does have native CarPlay, t...

This thread is why I was hard stuck on choosing local colleges over elsewhere for my undergrad.
I’ve gotten job offers at bars, in the hot tub at my old apartment complex, at local breweries. I made friends at all the FAANG companies before I graduated and many more since then.

As my mechanic pal said, “What’s more complicated than a car with an engine? A car with TWO engines!”
People are buying used Teslas with 100,000 to 300,000 miles and still getting low cost driving.
A Model Y also has more cargo space than an RX350h.
With service centers nearby you can go online and reserve a free, 48 demo loaner and see for yourself! I’m betting you’ll realize the Toyota is like driving 25 year old tech compared to the Tesla.
I’m not trying to push pro Elon anything I’ve said multiple times I don’t like him, I posted about Tesla model Y having good sales in Europe in September I thought the sub was here to share news about electric vehicles and I did just that
The only nerve I hit is yours cause you’re constantly responding to me and making empty claims about Tesla. That’s fine if you hate Elon I don’t care. He’s not a good person.

I'm seeing the opposite, if I setup a trip in the car and specify EA, it refuses to route using EA stations, always picks Tesla. Setting this up in the app works as expected, only choosing EA stations. If I zoom in I can see the google landmarks and tap them and see the charging station details but there is no icon. That would imply Tesla uses 433mhz or something similar traditional to “normal” cars.
It doesn’t.

A cute little ride, with room for 4??? i definately love!🤩 An interesting feature is the silent hum sleekly coupled through innovation. A 4 seater electric car might not be it for others, but it deefinately thrills me and sends chills of joy down my spine. Yes Alibaba has some listings you could check out from, models like Tesla Model Y, BMW i4 and Polestar 2 are frankly relaible.

Nice, congrats! When I bought mine, the Tesla "advisor" actually let me test it for a good 3 hours. I totally recommend doing the same if you can. That’s enough time to really see how it behaves in different situations.
Also, make sure to check which FSD version you’re trying. v14 is rolling out right now apparently it’s a bit less smooth (I haven’t tried it yet), but it’s more capable overall and finally parks itself automatically at the end of drives without having to manuall...
