Tell that to all the anti's who were shitting themselves over <strong>OpenAI</strong> using Scarlett Johansens voice for their voice model. Oh right. You anti's support things when its convenient. Not out of principle.

There is, it's just not included in this diagram. Energy prices are a part of the scam. Electricity is going up across the country. That's where it's coming from. And these inefficient and energy-intensive models coming out of the U.S., [and not China](https://finance.yahoo.com/news/alibaba-cloud-claims-slash-nvidia-093000646.html), are driving the demand. There's a reason why a BlackRock exec is [now on the board of <strong>OpenAI<...
Solid overview of the AI tools reshaping recruiting. In the screening stage you mentioned, we built PhoneScreen AI to automate first-round phone screens with real-time voice conversations via <strong>OpenAI</strong> Realtime API and Twilio, letting candidates complete them anytime without scheduling. It's helped staffing firms cut manual screening time by 80% for high-volume roles like warehouse and temp staffing. https://phonescreen.ai
Not really. The problem is that while the cost of a matrix multiply is going down, the number of them needed to execute an inference is increasing exponentially. The problem is that <strong>OpenAI</strong>, et al, are lowering the price they charge per token, because the customers expect the price of any technological service to decline over time.
OpenAI’s next big move: ChatGPT can now analyze your internal data like a human analyst

Oh you know you got something raunchy cooking when <strong>OpenAi</strong> creates a new guardrail quote for you.
From "<strong>OpenAI</strong> is a non profit organization whose mission was to ensure that artificial intelligence benefits all of humanity" to "Get a real work"
Can <strong>OpenAI</strong> run GPT on ollama and start posting here just for marketing and gigles too?
Maybe if <strong>OpenAI</strong> gets wiped out, it wasn’t a real company to begin with. Maybe if CEOs get wiped out, they weren’t real people to begin with
No you said <strong>OpenAI</strong> will fail. You said it again. I read your comment, you might need to re-read it yourself.
It seems I'm not the one with the reading comprehension issues.
Yeah, they can make <strong>OpenAI</strong> keep buying more of their GPUs in exchange for AMD stock and we can keep pumping their stock up. It's a win-win. To infinity!!!! 🚀🚀🚀
Did you read the Terms of Use or think your monthly subscription was the same as buying a majority stake in the company?
To me, this amount of acrimony at <strong>OpenAI</strong> is reasonable; if it were focused on its entreaties with a suicidal teen to not let their plans be discovered, their insidious use of nonprofit status for years to develop a market capturing service, their dishonest attempts at transparency, their military contracts, their models’ voracious defense of the company itsel...
Not sure about the others, but I am using APIs from both AI Studio and <strong>OpenAI</strong>. The API from AI Studio used to yield inconsistent results, but its performance has improved significantly recently. In contrast, GPT-5 is making me crazy lately; it is so slow even when I just use GPT-5 mini. This is just my recent personal experience.
Ollama is, effectively, just a set of basic <strong>OpenAI</strong>-compatible endpoints for generative text requests... so yeah it's going to need a tooling framework to do anything "useful"
Something like Haystack will likely have some full batteries included tech stack. I'm sure some error message would be useful if you need assistance with Python packages? Chances are you want some level of Python environment control/package management like UV so you're running with the right Python version...

former president of Y Combinator and CEO of <strong>OpenAI</strong> has never done an hour of real work in his life. Might be the dumbest armchair comment I've ever read on reddit and that's saying something.
And this tells you all you need to know about the validity of <strong>OpenAI</strong>.
Thanks!
So I would upload all my previous emails and website content into Pinecone so that <strong>openai</strong> can read that before replying? Or am I missing the point?
I get what you mean, and I agree that it's important to "AI lies" in the way that "Perrier lies" about the purity and origin of its water. Perrier(TM) can't lie either: it's a brand, it has no consciousness and can't make decisions. But the people running the company made the decision to lie about their product.
The people running <strong>OpenAI</strong> (and others) have been releasing products that keep failing to meet expectations on the things they're supposed to do. I'm sure it's not inte...
Well, the stock is up 100% in the past six months and earnings are ip 20%....i dont see it going low. 100B deal was just closed with <strong>openai</strong>
Start [here](https://github.com/acon96/home-llm/blob/develop/docs/Setup.md#intro). This really isn't noob-friendly, it assumes you know your way around your HA machine and can troubleshoot networking issues (like adding firewall rules) in case you have to.
Basically it involves [running Ollama](https://github.com/ollama/ollama) on your Windows machine (a little CLI experience required here, nothing bad) and then pointing that integration to your Ollama server (instead of <strong>OpenAI</stron...

I’ve been emailing <strong>OpenAI</strong> support for 17 days with no human response. I’m super frustrated, so I’m turning to the community for help.😢
That's too long. I hope you'll find a solution or receive proper help from <strong>OpenAI</strong> support.
The way I look at it, a specialised LLM based AI is going to be far more effective than chat GPT and its ilk...
However, you cannot disregard the downfalls of AI in general, which include hallucinations. Not to mention the general problem of most models trying to be overly helpful, and concocting information out of thin air because it should technically be mathematically possible.

It just seems like <strong>OpenAI</strong> is playing on the idea thay all these "consultants" do now is use GPT for their work.
Would it be possible to isolate the root cause of the degradation by using older versions of Codex CLI?
The degradation is real and I'm very happy to see Tibo and <strong>OpenAI</strong> taking it seriously.
As they investigate the degradation, would it be possible to isolate the root cause of the degradation by using older versions of Codex CLI?
For example, if the root cause are the changes to Codex CLI and not the underlying model, then reverting to an older CLI version should see immediate improvements.
And if reverting to an older model does not lead to immediate improvements, then the roo...
My comment on Oct.14 before market opened and pre-market showed around -3% and price at $215.
*Can I tell you guys just to relax? With the <strong>OpenAI</strong> agreement, there is a floor in AMD's stock price until MI455 is released in the second half of next year. I don't know the floor price exactly but I would guess somewhere around $203 where the stock hit last Monday. The stock won't go lower than that barring some unforeseen macro event, simply due to the additional revenue the <stro...

Go look at anybody having to fight with modern day models to do their work, then look at <strong>OpenAI</strong> admitting that it'd cost upwards of a trillion dollars to train the next generation GPT model, *then* look at <strong>OpenAI</strong> having to pivot to AI-driven porn and web browsers to keep revenue up, **then** look at how much the machine learning space is propping up the economy, then finally look at industry professionals quietly admitting that the transformer architecture - the...
Built a full AI Call Agent Platform in 2 days (<strong>OpenAI</strong> Realtime API + SIP) — here’s what surprised me
Hey everyone 👋
I’ve been experimenting with **OpenAI’s Realtime API** and decided to see how far I could push it — so I built a full **AI call agent platform** in 2 days.
It connects directly from **SIP (Telnyx)** to OpenAI’s realtime endpoint — no middle layers — and handles live audio, function calls, and full conversation logging.
Latency averages around **300ms**, which honestly feels surreal when the AI starts talking back in real time

I just asked Chatgpt this question and some interesting follow-ups: Why am I, specifically, so f’ing pissed at <strong>openai</strong> right now?

No, I don't offer API access. That would be wholesale slaughter to my finances. I could do that for paid users who want to pay for their actual usage plus a percentage, possibly, but better just use Open Router or similar if that's what you want.
There are no hard usage limits on the free tier. I don't guarantee that, but that's how it is now and I'd like to keep it that way. Several services don't cost me anything to provide, or extremely little, including the main small chat model I use, the ...

The bigger question is if <strong>OpenAI</strong> takes the wrap, where does conversation responsibility end up legally. If you're shopping and someone has a bad day and you jokingly say "things never seen to change," and that person offs themselves later, is that conversation while wearing Meta glasses discoverable by court demand under a manslaughter charge?

Would love to see this chart with more tech companies. Some like Airbnb, uber, Pinterest, snap, <strong>openAI</strong>, Anthropic.
Han salido algunas noticias como que <strong>openai</strong> no quiere depender solo de nvidia o que AMD va a usar procesos de fabricación de intel. A parte tienen una posición dominante en CPUs.
I started looking at this guy through the frame of mind that he created <strong>OpenAI</strong> to purposefully kill the internet and get people to be more social again
I’m not pushing this as fact, in fact it’s my own personal theory / conspiracy that I’m sure sounds crazy
But since I started looking at him through that frame of mind, he’s become more funny to me. Like this is a joke someone trying to kill the internet would make in irony
His time will come.
Ai is going to grow. Sure.
Google is gemini
Microsoft is copilot

Building an AI assistant that answers your phone calls — looking for feedback founders & tech folks
I’ve been working on a concept called (now call it BETA), an AI voice assistant that can handle phone calls on your behalf — in your own tone and manner. The core idea is simple: instead of missing calls or wasting time on interruptions, BETA takes the call, greets the caller (“Hi, I’m Tony’s assistant, he’s busy right now — what would you like to tell him?”), listens, summarizes, and stores the key message.
The assistant can also deliver predefined responses that the user feeds in advance (“Te...
I’ve spent much more time with <strong>OpenAI</strong> models so I wasn’t aware that Claude is downplaying emojis, and most of my Claude experience is Claude Code.
But yes — using an italicized reaction on a single line to attempt to express a physical response aka old IRC interactions, as opposed to a sycophantic response like “Haha you’re so funny” reads as a totally different response paradigm to me.
Seems like Reddit disagrees though. Guess I’ll just stick to sharing my little tidbits on ...

CEO of <strong>OpenAI</strong> never done an hour of real work?
Lul
What is real work then? Working in a mine?
At that level, it's more about ***who*** you know - in the parent/investment company - than the value of ***what*** you bring to the table.
Besides some elite level company, like Apple, or NVidia, where the CEO seems to be on the ball, and pushing into the right direction, how many other Corps are out there, where the CEO really matters?
Specially on <strong>OpenAI</strong>, where it's all on the shoulders of a few top talent researchers to move the field forward, and truly disrupt.
Il giorno che <strong>OpenAI</strong> finirà in totale fallimento, non si stupirà nessuno: aveva in mano il futuro e l'ha buttato nel WC per farci un altro browser e un pò di NSFW.
It's also a ridiculous value proposition.
<strong>OpenAI</strong> went from saying "AGI is already here" to "We can do fake work more cost effective than humans."
So, they chose Zuckerboy's vision. Does anyone remember when <strong>OpenAI</strong> cited "ethics" and resisted the temptation of being headhunted for META? The idea was to let Zuck delve into ads based AI while the big brains at <strong>OpenAI</strong> focused on being bleeding edge, with much loftier innovations in mind. Seems we got the bad ending on this one.
