WUfB driver updates without using Driver Updates policies?

If your tenant doesn’t support the Windows Update Deployment Service that activates newer WUfB features such as Feature Updates policies and Driver Updates policies, how do you vet drivers and firmware coming in through WUfB? How were people managing this before the new, driver updates policies feature existed? If you set up Windows Update deployment rings including driver updates with a pilot group for each model getting driver snd BIOS updates along with their Patch Tuesday updates and test ...

Exactly, which means they can afford to fail and keep going, microsoft just doesnt wanna poor money into it anymore, thats their decision, its not because theyre failing. Theyve been talking about stepping back from the console wars for awhile now

I found the solution, you need to create a new tenant using this link [https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/free/](https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/free/), (open it in incognito to avoid any issues). Then Microsoft will ask your address and a credit card (this is mandatory, however it should be free). Here is the question were I found the solution: [https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/2136264/%28%28-sessionid-1dddcb43f3a44aaab9600ecf5c916adf-erro?utm\_source=ch...

Why would I buy a Microsoft branded or Sony branded box when their games come to PC? These current consoles are just locked down PCs. It's not like previous consoles when the hardware presented different features other systems didn't provide. That's before we talk about consoles exclusives. Which is why it feels like these systems never really took off. I know people are gonna say PCs are more expensive, but I can use whatever controller I want. I can have cloud saves eith...

Wouldn't it be more likely you just start to see Microsoft games on PS+ and Sony games on Gamepass? They both keep their identity and work out the details in the background.

Both Apple and Microsoft are able to implement much-more integrated solutions into their own OSs. People clearly want more AI in their OS that's why Copilot PCs are selling so well 😂

>!Honestly, chasing the JRPG audience might have been as much of a mistake as everything else. From the start Xbox catered strongly to the North American market, and succeeded in that largely because they hit the iron pretty much just as Sony was pushing out Sega, who had previously be one of the most successful console brands in the region. JRPGs were always a smaller market in NA, so JRPG gamers were always going to flock to the consoles that had those - Playstation and (to a lesser extent b...

To be fair, these people are working on pretty strict schedules and sometimes working different jobs. So I'm normally pretty forgiving of grammar errors or minor wording issues. But omg I cannot stand excessive typos. I just don't get it because even Microsoft Word or Google Docs will easily point these out. Like do authors turn that shit off?

One thing I always find funny is grown men acting like console warriors. Like bro, why can’t we just enjoy playing games instead of arguing about what platform it’s on? It’s not like Microsoft or Sony actually care about us 😂

Ok this whole comment is so wrong, that i don't know where to begin from. > console makers don’t make money on consoles. Sony, since 2021 makes money from selling the PS5. Its no longer being sold on a loss. The "big" money is from the software. Something that Xbox no longer has. Subscriptions and 30% cut from every single game sold through them. If there are no Xbox consoles, you just lost the PSN equivalent and the 30% cut from each game. > I guarantee you in next 3-5y (next gen) xbox wi...

They spent loads of money to buy Zenimax, just to get Starfield because they found out Sony was looking to get a timed exclusive deal from it. Redfall and Starfield where completely lackluster and ended up not being worth the buyout. Thye bought ActiBlizz and then had to spend more money on lawsuits to defend the buyout, which had them whore out the CoD license just so they could go "Look, See, we aren't trying to monopolize" They spent even more money to hard push Gamepass all through Covid, ...

When Warren Buffet's net worth doubles because his stock price doubles, it takes nothing away from me or you. I own stock in Amazon, Google, Microsoft, nVidia, and others. I also own index funds that track the entire stock market, and some gold as a hedge. When they do well, I do well. They have been doing very well lately. Washington. Nature: Olympic Peninsula, Cascades, Mt Rainer, Puget Sound, Columbia plateau. Culture: Birthplace of grunge; Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, and Alice in Chains. I think we’re seeing the truth, that the console generation is plain over. Microsoft saw this years ago when they first said they were out of the console game, and Sony clearly sees it too. There’s no room in the handheld market because the Steamdeck does everything the Switch doesn’t and vice versa… especially when PS games will eventually come to Steam and thus Steamdeck. Sony needs to figure it how they want to adapt, or they’ll start getting left behind.

I hate that Bill Gates was able to rehabilitate his image after his humiliating testimony in the Microsoft antitrust case. He was an accomplished computer scientist back in the 70s, but basically anything he's said since the 80s has been 100% in the interest of protecting Microsoft's monopolistic position in cloud & software and bumping his own stock investment. He's just saying whatever he thinks will keep the bubble going because it's good for his net worth.

The game is pretty good imo, the thing is just, people are fed up with how many games get churned out with UE5 while being barely optimized *and* put at $70+ for not much improvement on the previous title. It's fun, yes. But not worth 69.99 by a long shot. If it was priced lower (personally I'd say 50 is a fair amount) people wouldn't be so extremely negative about it. And don't forget that Microsoft wanted to sell it for 90 bucks before they received a lot of backlash. It's ...

For me battery life is great - lasts 2 days between charges. But of course depends on whether you TikTok all day long or not. While the battery is smaller than other phones, Samsung has done a great job of battery mgmt on the device. I love the larger inner screen. It just makes browsing, scrolling thru reddit, reading ebooks etc so much nicer. XP was such a great operating system. Regretfully, I remember blowing an XP computer back in the day due to improper ventilation. Classic case of one of my parents not being a "computer person" and the computer was intentionally "obscured" in a desk compartment. The original Xbox came out in 2001 (Nov 15th) also. The early 2000s and early 2010s were a fun time to have Microsoft products since just a few years later, you got Windows 7 and Xbox 360.

That makes “Gaming” a product and service, and not a division. And the product, although in third place, is still woefully behind first (by 74,980 million) and second (by 64,312 million), narrowly beating out LinkedIn in revenue each quarter. So no, Xbox isn’t the third largest division at Microsoft, because there is no Xbox division. And while their gaming as a product is in third place in their lineup, it still only has a revenue comparable to a mere social media site. You...

That's what I tried and same result. I ended up adding the openhardwaremonitor folder to the exclusion list and restoring some files from a cloud backup. So that is my solution for now. I'm just baffled that months ago I had this issue and was immediately able to restore the file and make an exclusion for it. After updating to 25H2, it seems my exclusions list was completely wiped and the actions menu is completely gone as if they simply removed the user's ability to make these decisions. W...

"I don't know why people think they won't" MCC? Infinite? No splitscreen? People have a low level of confidence in Halo Studios/343i. That's why people think they won't. I understand there were tons of shills insistent that Infinite launched in an acceptable state, but it really didn't and stayed unacceptable for over a year after the launch, killing off a large portion of the people hyped to play it at launch. People do not trust this studio and really Microsoft at the...

It happened to me too the jack was broken. It’s pretty easy to replace; it’s not soldered. Just open the controller, remove it, and put the new one in. The funny part is that this piece is pretty crappy from stock controller, it can even come faulty in newer controllers. I had to replace it in both of my new controllers, and that solved the problem. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Replacement-headphone-Microsoft-controller-ZedLabz/dp/B07M5RN3F8

Which is why it kinda doesn't make sense that they'd make another one instead of a Fallout interstitial. I loved the first game, but it was blatantly "I'll make my own Fallout, with blackjack and hookers!" (despite actually removing the blackjack and hookers they had in NV). It was basically marketed as such. Now that Obsidian and Bethesda are both owned by Microsoft, they really don't need to go out of the way to make a different series.
