Notifier is not a magic pill
We have had a lot of new customers come on recently, and some of you seem surprised that Notifier can’t just do all the work for you in finding leads. 🤣
There is always going to be noise you have to filter through. That is exactly why we use a Virtual Assistant I found on Upwork to help us filter through things.
And the trick is finding what to Search for. Notifier can help find those keywords but it cannot help you find what those keywords are. You have to do that yourself.
But once you have found them, you are done and can sit back and watch the results come in.
You’re going to need to put the work in to find the best combination of keywords
There is simply no way around this. You’re going to have to put some work in initially in order to find the best combination of keywords that work for you.
Here are some tips I have found that work well for me.
- Start as broad as you can at first. Don’t put something in like
"Looking for homes in the east bay area".
No one is going to say exactly that.
Instead, start broad with something like:looking AND home AND "bay area" - Create multiple Searchers at once.
I see many of you simply creating one searcher for a very specific phrase, and then you wonder why no results come rolling in. Start broad and create multiple Searchers to test multiple combinations of phrases.
- Narrow down your Search String once you start getting results.
Once you start getting results with a more broad search term, then you can start narrowing things down to eliminate non-relevant results. - Use a VA to help you scale.
Even if you’re getting a lot of noise, those there could be a ton of leads within that noise that you need to sort through. You don’t wanna miss out on those opportunities.
And this is why you need to hire a virtual assistant, to help you sort through and find those high value leads.

One of you gave the feedback that because you have a small new brand, no one mentions you yet online. How are you going to know and respond when they start?
90% of social media users DO NOT tag brands because they do not know how.
And why are you not searching for mentions of your competitors? You need to know what people think of them! You can jump in and recommend yourself!
Big brands understand the need for this. Namecheap replies to EVERY SINGLE one of their mentions. Don’t believe me? Here is an example.
They may even be a customer of Notifier. I don’t talk about our customers so I don’t know. 🤣

Many of you have been asking about this! We are bringing back Message on Match! And it will eventually be tied to ChatGPT, which will automatically generate a unique reply for you.
ChatGPT just released a new API so we are exploring that now. Stay tuned.
When we release the Beta for this it will only be for customers who have indicated their interest in it by emailing me.
The Engager
We are also now actively working on a feature that will help you build your engagement online, starting with Twitter.
This is based on another tool I was using that I like, but I think could be a lot better, especially by combining AI like ChatGPT and other enhancements.
We will be developing this live in production! That way you can give us your feedback and test it, etc…
