New Matching System Now Live
The biggest change this week is our transition to a completely new matching system. While the core functionality remains similar to what you’re used to, there’s an important structural change: you now have a set number of monthly allocated matches that count down as you use them.
This new system provides better transparency into your usage and will soon offer more flexibility. We’re currently working on the ability to purchase additional matches as needed, along with the option to buy extra AI credits for enhanced analysis.
Archive Search: Test Your Filters for Free
We’ve just released a powerful new archive search functionality that serves two key purposes:
- Search our 30-day archive of collected data
- Test and refine your search filters to see exactly how different parameters affect your results
This feature is particularly valuable for understanding our search syntax. For example, searching for brand advocate yields different results than searching for "brand advocate" in quotes. These nuances can significantly impact the quality of your matches.
This functionality is currently free, and we’d love your feedback on how useful this is for exploring and mastering our search capabilities.
Free AI Summaries for Verified Results
When you have AI verification enabled on your searchers, you’ll now automatically receive free AI-generated summaries that explain what each result is about. This feature helps you quickly understand the context and relevance of matches without having to read through every result manually.
We’re still refining the styling and presentation of these summaries, so please let us know what you think of both the functionality and the visual design.
Coming Soon: Semantic Search
While Notifier’s current keyword-based approach using Solr search syntax is powerful and precise, we recognize it’s not always intuitive for everyone to build complex filters. That’s why we’re developing semantic search capabilities.
This new approach will focus on searching by meaning rather than exact keywords, making it easier to find what you’re looking for without mastering complex syntax. We believe combining semantic search with our AI verification will make Notifier even more powerful for discovering relevant online mentions.
