Well from my understand smart lists allows you to compose lists using Boolean logic. Let’s say you had some group of tasks you wanted to complete, but there were conditions to acceptance. So there’s a way for you to chain things together using those Boolean operators (and, or, not). Let’s say you wanted to track your gym routine on tick tick. You have your habit set up and you found a routine you like, I’ll use this routine as a template, https://weightology.net/muscle-gain/6-day-per-week-push-pull-legs-hypertrophy-split/ You have 6 workouts but want to split it up weekly. You make the list, Push Day A and push day B, etc etc. So in order for you to check off for the day you would need to do any one of these tasks. Push day A or B Or Leg day A or B Or Pull day A or B Or Rest day You completed one workout you select one and it’s completed for the day. Congrats. Something happens. (I’m new to the app I know there’s achievements and stuff. Still trying to figure it out) You also set up a weekly task, the weekly check off would say in the last seven days has this been completed (Push day A or B) And (Leg day A or B) And (Pull day A or B) Or Rest day What this means is as long as there one push, pull and legs day checked off in the last seven days you’re done. The good thing is you have the option to also do more and still be finished. Let’s say you were excited and wanted do more. You decided I don’t want to rest on consecutive days. You’d add a this check to the daily list. (Push day A or B) Or (Leg day A or B) Or (Pull day A or B) Or (Rest day and rest day was not checked yesterday) You’ve added the not operator with a prior due date. What this means is, the task wouldn’t complete for the day if if rest was checked on consecutive days. that. You must select at least one of the other options to complete the task for that day. It seems like the advanced features of smart lists allow you more flexibility and control over how you structure things, but they do a very poor job in displaying how to use the feature. It was something I was looking for and didn’t know was there because they just don’t do a good job of showing it off. I hope this made sense. I’ve always liked girls, but I recall one day in high school on the bus thinking to myself whether a guy could be attractive, but immediately felt repulsed by the idea (so I understand homophobia). In college however, I started to fantasize about having a jock roommate who would parade around in a towel, or say things to make me feel uncomfortable – things like “You know, you wouldn’t make a bad looking girl.” I’d fantasize that he’d slap my ass as I walk by, and then laugh when I’d get flushed. Or he’d tell me he was sore after football practice, and ask me to massage him. First it would just be him telling me to massage his neck and shoulders while he’s studying at his desk. I’d agree to massage him just to help out a friend, but he’d never thank me – just expect me to do it. If I tried to stop after awhile he’d say “No, that feels good. Keep doing it.” So I would, and he wouldn’t say anything. Sometime later, after I got used to doing that for him, he’d return from practice, and complain that his feet were sore from doing sprints and stair workout in the stadium. He’d say “Hey, you wouldn’t mind rubbing these dogs for me, would you?”, kicking off his tennis shoes and sitting on his bed. It would feel like a weird request, but I’d say “Oh, um, sure. Okay, like how should I…” “Just sit there on the floor next to my bed.” I’d comply and he’d put a stinky sock-covered foot in my lap, and I’d start kneading his foot through the sock. The smell was gross, but he did look beat and seemed to really appreciate what I was doing. I couldn’t help but notice how muscular he was. Then he’d put his other foot in my lap, and say “Now this one.” I’d massage his feet for what seemed an hour, and then say “Is this good? I need to work on my assignment for tomorrow.” “Okay”, he’d say, removing his feet, but still not thanking me. After some time of that and massaging his shoulders, the next time I was massaging his feet he’d say “You know what, my calves are sore too. Leg day today.” So sitting before him I’d massage his calves too. Up until now he was always wearing his football shorts, but one day he returns from the shower in his bathrobe and asks me to do it, so I do. As I’m rubbing his calves, he tells me “A little higher…” So I start rubbing around his knees. “No, my thighs – we did dead lifts and squats today.” So I start rubbing his thighs, which are like tree trunks. As I do so, I have to lean in closer, and he puts his hand on my head and starts playing with my hair, like I’m some kind of pet. It feels really weird, but also somehow natural. The air in the room suddenly feels very thick. As he enjoys what I’m doing for him, he slowly spreads his legs, and the bathrobe parts. I can see part of his junk, although I try not to notice. He’s huge. Suddenly our room door opens and some of his football buddies burst in. I panic, but my roommate doesn’t flinch at all. “Woah, Logan, is this the geisha boy you were telling us about?” I didn’t know what they were talking about, because I’m not even Asian. “Yeah, this is him. You should get one sometime. Nothing beats it after practice.” “Yo, can we borrow him?” “Maybe, what do you have to trade?” They banter on like this, and I just lower my head in shame, Logan’s feet still in my lap. Logan says “Okay, catch you fellas later. I got stuff to do.” “Okay Logan, don’t break him!” they say laughing, and exit the room. “Sorry about that,” Logan says. “Are you all right?” and tousles me hair. “Yes. That was so embarrasing. Calves are known to have low androgenic receptor sensitivity compared to most other body parts. Don’t quote me on this but I think there are a lot of slow twitch muscle fibres on your calves which makes them harder to get big. If your legs are really big then on your leg days only do 1-3 sets of full legs and isolate calves for the entire rest of the workout. And calves are pretty strong so really max out that weight for reps.

So how should I act? My logic tells me start fresh & light with a true beginner's exercises like I mentioned, ones who put less stress on legs in general. Legs getting stronger... not bigger

Here’s where I’m at... I’m eating at a significant caloric surplus, working out legs 2-3 times a week, gaining strength in my legs, and my upper body progression is awesome (to me at least), but my lower body seems like it’s just turning into runners legs - well defined but not gaining size. It sucks because I don’t want it to look like I’m “skipping leg day” when it couldn’t be further from the truth, but I also don’t want to have to sacrifice my upper body to be proportional to my legs. Anyone have similar problems or any solutions or is this a case of me having a weird genetic thing that I have to out work?

In college however, I started to fantasize about having a jock roommate who would parade around in a towel, or say things to make me feel uncomfortable – things like “You know, you wouldn’t make a bad looking girl.” I’d fantasize that he’d slap my ass as I walk by, and then laugh when I’d get flushed. Or he’d tell me he was sore after football practice, and ask me to massage him. First it would just be him telling me to massage his neck and shoulders while he’s studying at his desk. I’d agree to massage him just to help out a friend, but he’d never thank me – just expect me to do it. If I tried to stop after awhile he’d say “No, that feels good. Keep doing it.” So I would, and he wouldn’t say anything. Sometime later, after I got used to doing that for him, he’d return from practice, and complain that his feet were sore from doing sprints and stair workout in the stadium. He’d say “Hey, you wouldn’t mind rubbing these dogs for me, would you?”, kicking off his tennis shoes and sitting on his bed. It would feel like a weird request, but I’d say “Oh, um, sure. Okay, like how should I…” “Just sit there on the floor next to my bed.” I’d comply and he’d put a stinky sock-covered foot in my lap, and I’d start kneading his foot through the sock. The smell was gross, but he did look beat and seemed to really appreciate what I was doing. I couldn’t help but notice how muscular he was. Then he’d put his other foot in my lap, and say “Now this one.” I’d massage his feet for what seemed an hour, and then say “Is this good? I need to work on my assignment for tomorrow.” “Okay”, he’d say, removing his feet, but still not thanking me. After some time of that and massaging his shoulders, the next time I was massaging his feet he’d say “You know what, my calves are sore too. Leg day today.” So sitting before him I’d massage his calves too. Up until now he was always wearing his football shorts, but one day he returns from the shower in his bathrobe and asks me to do it, so I do. As I’m rubbing his calves, he tells me “A little higher…” So I start rubbing around his knees. “No, my thighs – we did dead lifts and squats today.” So I start rubbing his thighs, which are like tree trunks. As I do so, I have to lean in closer, and he puts his hand on my head and starts playing with my hair, like I’m some kind of pet. It feels really weird, but also somehow natural. The air in the room suddenly feels very thick. As he enjoys what I’m doing for him, he slowly spreads his legs, and the bathrobe parts. I can see part of his junk, although I try not to notice. He’s huge. Suddenly our room door opens and some of his football buddies burst in. I panic, but my roommate doesn’t flinch at all. “Woah, Logan, is this the geisha boy you were telling us about?” I didn’t know what they were talking about, because I’m not even Asian. “Yeah, this is him. You should get one sometime. Nothing beats it after practice.” “Yo, can we borrow him?” “Maybe, what do you have to trade?” They banter on like this, and I just lower my head in shame, Logan’s feet still in my lap. Logan says “Okay, catch you fellas later. I got stuff to do.” “Okay Logan, don’t break him!” they say laughing, and exit the room. “Sorry about that,” Logan says. “Are you all right?” and tousles me hair. “Yes. That was so embarrasing. You were kidding about calling me ‘geisha boy’ right?” “Sure,” he says. “But you do make a good geisha boy.” “And you were kidding about lending me out?” “We’ll see. Now where were you?”

This past Sunday I KILLED leg day. Set a new DL PR, did all my Bulgarian split squats (lol) and felt awesome...until I looked in the mirror and had a huge crotch sweat stain that looked like I peed myself. I didn’t notice till my workout was done so I left the gym strategically carrying my water bottle in front of me.
