Do you stretch your quads? If not try daily stretching them daily. And on leg day foam roll the shit out of them before lifting.
Today: a workout after two days of eating everything I can see, a lot of sleep, a lot of rest. Accordingly, I turned in an absolutely preposterous amount of volume for leg day this morning. Think it’s the next to last glute/ham one on this cycle and it was a killer. So that was fun. Came home and ate a giant egg white omelet, hung around a while, now watching the AL/AU rivalry do its thing with both teams going for blood. Tomorrow, more little home projects and stuff, and trying to ignore that I’ll have to work again Monday. 😂

well for the squats for example, i did around 80kg 10 reps (failure) & 90kg 5 reps which was also to failure. for each leg day that comes i try to add on 2.5-5kg each set when it comes to squatting. i’m around 5’8/173-174cm & 145lbs/65.5kg ish
I’ve been losing weight but can’t get passed 186lbs. For a while all I did was cardio on the treadmill and diet. Now I’m lifting but have only been doing it for a week and I’m not losing any weight, only maintaining. I phased out running for now because my legs are incredibly sore from leg day. My normal caloric intake is 2000/per day, I’m going down to 1800 starting yesterday. This question probably sounds stupid but I need help and don’t know where else to ask.

The machine on the left is an absolute killer if you’ve never done leg day before. It isn’t hard to do even for a novice but the pain is unreal the next day. Edit: shit, nope, that’s not the one. The one I meant does the same thing but in reverse
I'm thinking you could do any lifting program but skip the lower body exercises? For eg. PPL but skipping the leg days. Assuming you're fairly lean with your activity level, you will also need to eat at a surplus in order to recover from the additional strength training

Does anyone have any suggestions for gym shoes? I pretty much do everything in the gym, I'm on a push, pull, leg day schedule right now (going 5-6 days a week). These shoes will get a lot of use and would like something that will hold up. They don't necessarily have to be running shoes since when I do cardio its not jogging or running. Please give me some ideas in the comments!

There's good news and bad news. No amount of prolapse should be happening (unless that's your kink). Even if you get to fisting size, many people don't have this issue. Since you are actually having prolapse issues, you should ideally see a dr.
